Sports Mole rounds up the day's SPL action.

Celtic scored four goals as they defeated Hearts to remain nine points ahead at the top of the Scottish Premier League.

Norwich City target Gary Hooper bagged a brace as the Hoops came out on top 4-1 against the Edinburgh club.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle ensured that the lead didn't increase as Billy McKay also scored two goals in his side's 3-0 victory over Aberdeen. The Highland side have not lost since November.

Ross County also recorded a convincing win in the league's early kickoff, beating St Mirren 4-1 away from home.

Dundee United achieved their first win in six games thanks to a hat-trick from Johnny Russell, who became the club's leading goalscorer.

Bottom side Dundee picked up a rare point in a 1-1 draw at Hibernian.

Results in full: St Mirren 1-4 Ross County, Celtic 4-1 Hearts, Hibernian 1-1 Dundee, Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3-0 Aberdeen, Kilmarnock 2-3 Dundee United
