Celtic took a three-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 4-0 win at home to Hamilton Academical this afternoon.
Goals from Stefan Johansen, John Guidetti and a brace from Kris Commons were enough as the home side eventually broke down a stubborn Accies outfit.
The Bhoys had a couple of early chances cleared off the line and it was Nir Bitton who was denied first before James Forrest's goal-bound effort was blocked inside the first 10 minutes.
Johansen was next to try his luck, but he could only fire wide after connecting with Efe Ambrose's cross.
Commons supplied John Guidetti towards the end of the half, but the striker could not find enough room for the shot and his tame effort was easily saved inside the box.
Commons eventually made the breakthrough 11 minutes into the second period when he volleyed home from six yards out after Virgil van Dijk made a good run to supply to his teammate.
Guidetti almost made it 2-0 after the hour mark, but his low shot was well saved by Accies keeper Michael McGovern before Johansen's deflected effort struck the post.
Johansen finally found the net moments later when he pounced on Van Dijk's blocked shot to convert from close range.
Commons wrapped up the victory with eight minutes remaining when he fired a right-footed effort into the corner.
