Celtic are on the verge of signing Nadir Ciftci after the Scottish giants agreed a fee with Dundee United.
The Premiership champions had been knocked back twice by the club, but now it appears that Celtic have met the asking price.
A statement on United's official website read: "Dundee United today confirmed that an undisclosed fee had been agreed with Celtic for Nadir Ciftci and permission has been granted for the Glasgow club to speak to the player."
Ciftci, who is believed to have recently rejected a move to Wigan Athletic, has scored 23 goals in 64 appearances for United.
The Turkish forward has one year left on his contract.
