Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has suggested that the club will add to their squad during the January transfer window.
The Bhoys made their first move in the market on Wednesday when they signed Standard Liege defender Rami Gershon on loan until the end of the season.
"We always like to strengthen," said Lawwell. "If the right opportunity comes along, we would like to do that.
"We would hopefully come out stronger than where we are at the moment. If they don't appear, then they don't appear."
Celtic return to Scottish Premier League action on January 19 when they entertain Hearts.
