Celtic defender Eoghan O'Connell has joined Oldham Athletic on loan until January 1.
The 20-year-old has made six senior appearances for the Scottish champions.
O'Connell has also been capped for the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level.
"He is a versatile player who can play in a number of positions and he will be a big asset to the team," Oldham boss Darren Kelly told the club's official website.
Oldham return to action tonight when they make the trip to Shrewsbury Town in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
