Celtic manager Ronny Deila has revealed that the club is continuing to hold contract talks with Kris Commons.
The 31-year-old has been offered a 12-month extension by the Scottish champions, but he is keen to pen a two-year deal.
Commons played a key role in the team's 2-0 win over Kilmarnock last night - a result that has put the Hoops one point behind leaders Aberdeen.
When asked about the attacking midfielder's future, Deila told BBC Sport: "We'll see, we're working on it. Talks go on."
Commons has scored six goals in 24 games for Celtic so far this season.
