Genk striker Jelle Vossen has paved the way for a move to Scottish Premiership champions Celtic after revealing that he is 'a big admirer' of the club.
The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, where he scored eight goals in 23 Championship appearances.
"Celtic is a club I admire — it is a big and great club. When I was younger, I watched a lot of their games in the Champions League," the Belgian international told the Sunday Sun.
"Celtic have had great teams and some Belgian players have been over there already. We just have to wait and see what happens and what the future will bring. I will talk to Genk in the coming days."
Vossen, who has 12 caps for his country, is expected to leave the Belgian club this summer, with Celtic and Middlesbrough among his suitors, the newspaper adds.
