Lyon have acknowledged that they are trying to sign Celtic forward Moussa Dembele.
Celtic's failure to qualify for the Champions League has resulted in teams deliberating over whether to launch an approach for Dembele.
Both Marseille and Lyon have been linked with bids for the 22-year-old - who is said to be valued at £20m - and the latter have admitted that they are interested in the striker.
At a press conference, president Jean Michel Aulas said: "We are interested in Dembele, we have contacted him, he is interested, it is one of the tracks but we have others."
Dembele has less than two years remaining on his contract and with the frontman unlikely to pen a new deal, Celtic must assess their options.
