Celtic have reportedly submitted a £500,000 bid for Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Ryan Christie.
The 20-year-old has already netted twice in five appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season, including once in Inverness's 4-2 defeat to the Scottish Champions earlier this month.
According to The Scotsman, Ronny Deila's side see Christie as a player for the future and are keen to sign him before Tuesday's deadline day, but their bid falls short of the £750,000 Caley are thought to want for the Scotland Under-21 international.
Inverness manager John Hughes has previously admitted that he would consider letting Christie leave if he could return on loan.
