Southampton are allegedly plotting an £8m swoop for Celtic and England shot-stopper Fraser Forster.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman is hoping that the appointment of England goalkeeping coach Dave Watson will help lure the player to St Mary's, according to The Mirror.
Koeman has reportedly been handed a £70m war chest to rebuild his squad following the sale of key players Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw.
The Dutchman is also said to be keen on signing Forster's Celtic teammate Virgil van Dijk as a potential replacement for Liverpool target Dejan Lovren.
