Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk has insisted that he is happy to remain with the Scottish Premiership club next season.
Van Dijk has been linked with a move to England, but despite his side easing to the league title, the Dutchman has revealed that he is keen to help Celtic improve in Europe and the domestic cup competitions.
The 22-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "I have a contract until 2017, so I don't have to move, and I think that the Champions League is always a big thing for every player. I want to play Champions League.
"We disappointed this season in the cup and the Champions League and we want to do much better next year. That's what I want as well."
Van Dijk has made 40 appearances for Celtic during the current campaign.
