AC Milan tightened their grip on second spot in the Serie A table with a 3-1 away win at Cesena this afternoon.
The visiting Rossoneri scored two quickfire goals before the break to put them in command of the fixture.
First, Sulley Muntari put them in front from close range in the 29th minute, before Urby Emanuelson scored from outside the area following a pass from Robinho.
Brazilian striker Robinho grabbed his side's third in the 55th minute when he converted a cross by Ignazio Abate from 12 yards out.
Cesena netted a consolation 25 minutes from time courtesy of a low drive from Daniel Pudil.
