Charlton Athletic manager Guy Luzon has questioned the decision to send off Chris Solly during the first half of his side's 2-1 defeat to Millwall at The Den this afternoon.
Solly was handed his marching orders after appearing to handle the ball on the line, but Luzon is convinced that the shot struck the defender's head.
"I think it touched his head not his hand," London 24 quotes Luzon as saying. "He told me the ball hit his head not his hand. It is always hard to take when you have 10 men, but that is the way.
"Millwall started the game well, but the red card changed the style of the game. We like to move the ball, but it is difficult with ten men. They started well and that was no surprise but we now have to turn our attention to Fulham."
Charlton are 11th in the Championship table, while Millwall are now four points from safety.
