Charlton Athletic have insisted that they are not interested in signing convicted rapist Ilombe Mboyo.
The Daily Mail recently reported that the Addicks, who have a strong connection with the Belgian league because of their owner Roland Duchatelet, were interested in the Genk striker.
The 28-year-old has spent time in prison in Belgium for participating in the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in 2004.
"He is absolutely not on our radar," a spokesman told BBC Sport. "He is not a player we are interested in signing."
Mboyo was linked with a move to West Ham United two years ago, but the Hammers reportedly pulled out of the deal after supporters voiced their concern over signing the player.
Charlton fans have also set up an online petition against pursuing the striker, who scored eight goals in 19 league games this season.
