Charlton Athletic manager Bob Peeters has rejected rumours that Darren Bent is close to sealing a loan return to the club.
The Aston Villa forward, who spent a loan stint at Fulham last season, has dropped down the pecking order at the Midlands club.
"Darren Bent? That is the first I have heard of it," Peeters told reporters. "I heard that another striker, Danny Graham, from Sunderland was coming in as well.
"It is good that these players are being linked with us because at the start of the season no-one wanted to join us. That must mean we are doing a good job."
The 30-year-old scored 37 goals in 79 games over two seasons at Charlton, who signed Bent back in 2005.
