Teenage Charlton Athletic striker Karlan Ahearne-Grant has signed a three-year contract with the Championship club.
The promising forward, who turned 17 last week, has been the Addicks' Under-18s leading scorer over the past two seasons.
"There are other players as well like Jordan Cousins, Callum Harriott and Diego Poyet who have all come through the academy so it just gives you a bit of hope that you can do it," Ahearne-Grant, who is yet to make a senior appearance for the London side, told the club website.
"When I was in the squad the taster was good and it just makes you want it more so the next step for me is to hopefully make the bench at some point and then make a few appearances."
Charlton have also added the option to extend Ahearne-Grant's deal by a further 12 months if they wish in 2017.
