Andy Delort has admitted that the pace of negotiations between current club Tours and Charlton Athletic is a source of great frustration.
The 22-year-old was believed to be close to securing a move to Charlton last week after agreeing terms on a five-year deal, but Tours are yet to accept a proposal from the Championship side.
"The club can't find an agreement with Charlton," Delort told members of the media. "The chairman is asking about a lot of money, and it blocks me. The chairman is only thinking about him.
"I thought my transfer would materialise quickly. I made a lot of efforts to join Tours last summer, I even accepted to get half wages. That situation is very difficult to me."
Delort has also been linked with Southampton and Leicester City this summer.
