Juan Mata
Juan Mata's stay at Chelsea was shorter than many fans would have liked, but during his time at Stamford Bridge he was one of the club's outstanding players as they experienced European glory like never before.
Signed from Valencia in 2011, Mata won Chelsea's Player of the Season award in his first two campaigns with the club before falling out of favour with returning manager Jose Mourinho and being sold to Manchester United just two-and-a-half years after his arrival.
Mata was instrumental in helping Chelsea to their first ever Champions League title in that time, though, assisting the goal which took the final to extra time and penalties as the Blues completed a European and FA Cup double during his debut campaign in English football.
There was more success in the Europa League a year later, making Mata and teammate Fernando Torres the first players to hold the Champions League, Europa League, World Cup and European Championships simultaneously.
Mata ended his Chelsea career having scored 33 goals in 135 matches across all competitions, including 18 in 82 Premier League outings.
