Crystal Palace full-back Tyrick Mitchell is reportedly set to be fit to face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final this Sunday.

The England international has been a concern for Patrick Vieira after suffering a calf injury during their defeat against Leicester City last weekend.

The 22-year-old had to be substituted during that game, which brought question marks as to his availability for their upcoming FA Cup clash.

However, Mitchell is on course to be fit and available for the Eagles, as the Daily Mail reports that he has been involved in some light training this week in order to prepare himself.

Palace are reportedly hopeful that the defender will be an option this weekend, but he is set to continue being assessed up until Sunday.

Mitchell has been a key part of the Eagles squad this season, playing in every single Premier League game to this point. body check tags ::
