For the first time in almost two months, Manchester City sit top of the Premier League table courtesy of Wednesday night's 2-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.
The champions could be back in a position of playing catch-up by the time they welcome Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, though, with Liverpool in action at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.
City's first defeat of the campaign came at the hands of Maurizio Sarri's side, and they know that another this weekend would undo a lot of the hard work they have put in to wipe out what was once a seven-point deficit at the top of the table.
Pep Guardiola was able to leave out the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling in midweek and the rest came through unscathed, leaving no new injury concerns.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for the champions.
MAN CITY'S INJURY LIST
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 16
Wednesday's match came too soon for Mendy, who suffered a reaction upon his return from a long-term knee injury against Burton Albion last month. The full-back has now missed the last four games, and is also expected to be unavailable this weekend.
Vincent Kompany
Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown
No return date has been set for Kompany yet, with the City skipper sidelined since the January 3 win over title rivals Liverpool.
Claudio Bravo
Status: Out
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: Unknown
Claudio Bravo is City's longest-term casualty having been out since August, and no date has been set for a potential return for the Chilean yet.
MAN CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST
Man City have no players suspended for this match. Fernandinho picked up his fifth booking of the season on Wednesday, but the deadline for that leading to a suspension has now passed.
