Chelsea have confirmed that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been released from hospital after suffering a head injury against Arsenal.
The Belgian international was taken to hospital on Sunday following a collision with Alexis Sanchez during Chelsea's 2-0 win.
However, the 22-year-old is expected to report for international duty this week after being given the all-clear by doctors.
"Chelsea Football Club can confirm Thibaut Courtois went to hospital during our Premier League game against Arsenal yesterday [Sunday] for precautionary tests on a head injury. Those tests came back all clear," read an official statement from the Blues.
"Thibaut was treated for a minor cut to his ear and was released from hospital last night. He is expected to report for international duty later this week."
Chelsea moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League table on Sunday thanks to their victory over their London rivals.
