Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Diego Costa and Gary Cahill are both fit to play in Sunday's Community Shield match against Arsenal at Wembley.
Costa was a doubt for the encounter due to a knock, while Cahill suffered a suspected broken nose during a pre-season friendly against Barcelona on Wednesday.
However, today, Mourinho confirmed in a press conference that the pair will be fit to feature in the curtain raiser of the new season.
Chelsea will begin the defence of their Premier League title with a home clash against Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on August 8.
