Eden Hazard will undergo an MRI scan on Monday after being forced off during Chelsea's 3-0 win at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Belgian limped off the pitch just 16 minutes into the game at Selhurst Park, days after overcoming a hip injury and picking up a knock in the draw at Manchester United.
Speaking after the match, Chelsea's interim manager Guus Hiddink confirmed: "He slipped, and he has a little problem with a muscle inside his groin.
"We'll see tomorrow with the MRI scan how damaged it is."
The 24-year-old has yet to score for the Blues this term and is now 2,289 minutes without a goal.
