Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has undergone a successful operation on his broken nose.
The Spanish international has been suffering from breathing difficulty as a result of the injury, which was sustained during the home win over Stoke City in April.
Fabregas was forced to play with a face mask for the closing weeks of the Blues' Premier League winning campaign, but he has now had surgery to rectify the issue.
In a short statement on the club website, Chelsea added that the "problem has been resolved". Jose Mourinho's side - minus Fabregas - are currently on a post-season tour of Asia.
