Chelsea captain John Terry has reportedly suffered an injury blow ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
The 35-year-old had been on the sidelines since mid-September with injury, but edged closer to a comeback when he was named on the bench for the Blues' 3-0 victory over Leicester City last weekend.
However, according to The Times, the former England international has suffered another ankle problem, which has thrown his availability for Sunday's clash against United into doubt.
In Terry's absence, manager Antonio Conte has been playing Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill as a three-man defence.
The 3-4-3 formation has worked in Chelsea's favour so far as they have claimed back-to-back defeats and kept two clean sheets.
