Ross Barkley has been ruled out of Chelsea's trip to Watford on Monday night after sustaining a hamstring injury in training, according to a report.
The 24-year-old has only just recovered from a long-term layoff that kept him on the sidelines for the opening four months of the campaign.
Barkley, who has featured three times for the Blues since arriving from Everton in January, is said to have picked up the fresh injury earlier this week.
The Telegraph claims that Antonio Conte has come under further pressure from his bosses following news of Barkley's layoff, as the Englishman is the eighth player to be ruled out with a hamstring injury this campaign alone.
Andreas Christensen was the seventh victim when pulling up in the 3-0 loss to Bournemouth in midweek, also ruling him out of the trip to Vicarage Road.
