Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that Eden Hazard will miss Thursday's Europa League clash with BATE Borisov.
Hazard has been in excellent form for Chelsea this season, scoring eight times and registering three assists in 11 appearances in all competitions.
However, a back injury will keep Hazard out of the clash with BATE, where Chelsea will look to record their third straight win to move onto nine points in Group L.
Sarri also claimed that the problem could keep the Belgium international out of this weekend's Premier League clash with Burnley.
"Tomorrow [he] is out for sure," Sarri told reporters. "He has a back problem and we are trying to solve the problem for Sunday. It's not very easy."
Chelsea have overcome PAOK and Videoton in their two Europa League matches this season.
