Follow Sports Mole's live coverage of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's press conference ahead of his side's match against Crystal Palace.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is not concerned by Chelsea's start to the Premier League season ahead of their match against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

The defending champions secured their first win last time out, having dropped points in their first two fixtures of the campaign.

The manager also tipped tomorrow's opponents for a top 10 finish in the Premier League this season.

Read what else Mourinho had to say below.

Good afternoon! Jose Mourinho will be speaking to the media in around 15 minutes as he prepares his side for the visit of Crystal Palace this weekend, having secured their first win of the season last time out.
As ever, there's no shortage of topics for Mourinho to touch upon this afternoon. Club captain John Terry, who was recently subbed off early for the first time under Mourinho, will be missing for this match, having been sent off last weekend. There's also the ongoing transfer saga surrounding John Stones, with Everton rejecting the defender's transfer request following a third bid from Chelsea for the England international.
There was also the small matter of the Champions League draw yesterday. Chelsea will face Mourinho's former club, Porto, in the European competition, as well as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Dinamo Kiev. Chelsea also entered the League Cup draw this week, giving them a trip to League One side Walsall to look forward to next month.
Defender Cesar Azpilicueta is celebrating his birthday day. The Spaniard, who turns 26, joined the club from Marseille in 2012.

Don't forget, you can follow live coverage from this match, as well as all of this weekend's Premier League fixtures, with Sports Mole. We'll also bring you all the team news, player ratings, managerial reaction and loads more.
It's also worth highlighting that this will be Chelsea's last fixture before the international break. When they return, they face a trip to Everton. Could they be taking John Stones back to Goodison Park for his Chelsea debut?
Right then, Mourinho has arrived and is ready to speak to the media.
Mourinho's side wrapped up the Premier League title with a win over Crystal Palace last season, but he doesn't think that will help his team this time: "Don't think so. Different match, but the same need to get the three points. Last season was to win the title, this season is to try to recover positions that we lost with two bad results. Palace will be always a difficult opponent, even better players than last season, so if last season they were good they are going to be even better this season. Good game, good result last week, working well against West Bromwich. A very good week."
On the team's defenders, Mourinho says: "I didn't work the defenders, I worked the team. You cannot blame defenders for the goals conceded because a team is a team."
Mourinho declines to comment on John Stones and Paul Pogba, who have both been linked with the side, but adds: "If I get another player at the end of the market, good. If not, the squad that I have is good."
Pedro made his debut last week following his move from Barcelona, and Mourinho says: "Even when they are top players like Pedro, they have always a little question mark, because everything changes in their lives, you never know how quick the adaptation is going to be. He shows that no problem and is ready to play, to perform, to improve the team. It's good for him, but better for us."
On his team's form, Mourinho insists: "I think the most important think is that it's not normal in three matches you have two penalties against and play with 10 men twice. One match at home, two matches away. Four points is not what we want, but four points is not a drama. We have to keep going, to improve, try to get a good result. This is the Premier League. When you are five points behind the leader in another league it can be complication, in the Premier League it's not complicated."
It will be Mourinho's 100th home match in charge of Chelsea, and he's lost just once, but he tells reporters: "I know it's not normal 99 matches is not 99 matches in a small league, it's 99 matches in the most competitive league. If I don't win I don't get a good memory of other matches because, tomorrow only is important."
Mourinho admits that he is going to be following transfer deadline day coverage: "I'm going to watch because it's good fun, in a way you are always waiting for something to happen."
Mourinho is asked about the Champions League draw, but claims he isn't interested in it yet: "I have two Premier League matches before the champions League, I speak after the Everton game."
Mourinho is asked about the prospect of facing Crystal Palace again, and he reiterates: "Last season they were good. This season I think they are better. A London derby is always a London derby, Stamford Bridge is always a huge motivation [for opposition]. They have nothing to lose. They will be in a very stable position, top 10 for sure. It will be a good match, it's just a question of are they coming trying to play the game with us or are they coming with a different perspective of being more defensive, trying something in counter-attack. They have very good strikers. Who knows, maybe they try to do what they did last season and play without a striker."
That's it from Mourinho for now, so join us again tomorrow after to see if Chelsea can secure their second win of the season. Until then, thanks for joining me this afternoon. Goodbye.
