Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly never spoken to Sir Jim Ratcliffe and has no interest in selling the Premier League club to Britain's richest man.
Ratcliffe was recently linked with a takeover of the Blues and hinted earlier this week that conversations have already been held.
ESPN reports that the 66-year-old did enquire about Chelsea's availability in May 2018, but his approach was declined and no talks have taken place since.
Abramovich has never discussed a possible sale of the West London outfit with any interested parties, it is claimed, and he remains fully committed the club he acquired for £140m in July 2003.
Chelsea have lifted 15 major trophies during the Russian billionaire's spell at Stamford Bridge and remain on course to win the Europa League this season.
