West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has expressed his belief that Jose Mourinho is the best club manager in the world right now.
Mourinho has not won a trophy in his last two campaigns with Real Madrid and Chelsea, but currently leads the way in the Premier League and is still in with a chance of winning the Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup this season.
Allardyce will take his West Ham side to Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day and believes that he will be coming up against the best in the business.
"Working managers, he's probably the best club manager in the world at the moment, on his track record. I don't think there's any doubt about that. There's probably only [Carlo] Ancelotti that perhaps matches him," Allardyce told reporters.
"But what he's done in his time across many different countries is outstanding. That's why I was glad to have him back and pit your wits against the best. Obviously he's proving that again with Chelsea here in England this season."
Despite Allardyce's claims, West Ham striker Andy Carroll has insisted that his manager can get the better of Mourinho on Friday.
