Former Spain boss Luis Aragones has backed Vicente Del Bosque's decision to drop Fernando Torres from his latest squad.
Torres, 27, has not scored for Chelsea since October, and Del Bosque recently admitted that he had little choice but to leave him out.
"I understand that he has not been called, he is not going through a good time and must wait for another opportunity. It is normal for a player who does not play and is not in good form to not go with the team," Aragones told Marca.
Aragones was in charge of Spain between 2004 and 2008.
