Feyenoord boss Arne Slot is reportedly an outside contender for Tottenham Hotspur's managerial vacancy.
Spurs are currently without a permanent manager after Antonio Conte was relieved of his duties as Tottenham boss last month.
Conte's assistant Cristian Stellini has been placed in temporary charge until the end of the season, giving the Tottenham board time to undertake their search for Conte's successor.
Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be among the contenders for the managerial vacancy.
Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique have been linked, but the pair are also in the running for the managerial position at London rivals Chelsea.
A recent report claimed that the Blues have made contact with Nagelsmann and Enrique, while the latter reportedly flew to England during the week to hold talks.
According to The Express, Tottenham are also considering Slot, who has developed an impressive reputation at Feyenoord.
Slot was appointed Feyenoord boss in the summer of 2021, and in his first season in charge, he guided the Dutch club to the Europa Conference League final, where they were narrowly beaten by Roma.
Feyenoord have continued to go from strength to strength under Slot's tutelage, and they are currently eight points clear at the top of the Eredivisie table.
With seven league matches left to play, they are now on the brink of winning their first league title since the 2016-17 campaign, and they are also still involved in European competition, having reached the Europa League quarter-finals.
Slot is considered an outsider for the Tottenham job, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is wary of letting another promising Dutch manager slip through his fingers.
Spurs were interested in appointing Erik ten Hag in 2021 before opting for Nuno Espirito Santo, who was subsequently sacked less than five months into the job.
Slot turned down the opportunity to become Leeds boss in February, opting to remain with Feyenoord and see out their title bid.
The Dutchman may be more open to a Premier League job in the summer, but the release clause in his contract does not become active until the summer of 2024.
As a result, Spurs will have to agree a compensation package with Feyenoord if they are to prise Slot away from the Eredivisie leaders. body check tags ::
