England manager Roy Hodgson will call up Ashley Cole for his side's friendly international against Denmark next month, according to a report.
There have been concerns on the defender's place in the Three Lions squad as he has failed to play regularly for Chelsea this season.
However, The Mirror claims that the 33-year-old will get a chance to impress Hodgson in March and will be part of the 30-man squad that will be named on Thursday.
Everton left-back Leighton Baines and Southampton's Luke Shaw are said to be ahead of Cole in the pecking order for England.
