Andre Villas-Boas has said that it is inevitable that fans will call for his head if Chelsea's poor run of form continues.
The Blues have had their worst start to a season since Roman Abramovich took over in 2003. After losing four games they currently sit fifth in the table, 12 points adrift of Manchester City.
"When results like this happen, the head of the manager is called for execution," said Villas-Boas.
Chelsea travel to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League tomorrow and will look to qualify for the last 16 with victory.
"I'm not worried by the comments. I want to get my team back to winning ways, and we'll try and do that against Leverkusen," added the Portuguese coach.
"As we enter a run of results, the negative spiral that this team went through last year, we don't want to go into a similar run of nine games."
In the Premier League, Villas-Boas's side host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
