Wolverhampton Wanderers will not have Bruno Lage in the dugout for Saturday's Premier League fixture at Chelsea.
The head coach is starting to come under pressure at Molineux after overseeing a run of seven defeats in 10 top-flight fixtures.
That period has left Wolves playing catch-up in the race for seventh position with West Ham United, Lage's side trailing by three points ahead of taking on the toughest run-in of any team in the division.
On Friday afternoon, Wolves revealed that the Portuguese had been left further disappointed after being ruled out of the trip to Stamford Bridge with coronavirus.
With the assumption being that Lage tested positive earlier in the day, he will now hope to recover in time before Wolves square off against leaders Manchester City on Wednesday evening.
