Chelsea are considering sacking Jose Mourinho and replacing him with Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, according to reports in France.
The report suggests that owner Roman Abramovich was displeased with Chelsea's lack of silverware last term, and could be ready to swing the axe after the Champions League final later tonight.
French publication Le10Sport claims that Simeone has a release clause in his contract that Chelsea will attempt to exploit in order to bring the sought-after Argentine to Stamford Bridge.
Simeone was linked with the Manchester United job before Louis van Gaal was eventually unveiled, and will not be short of suitors should he part ways with Atletico Madrid this summer.
Atletico take on Real Madrid in Lisbon this evening in an all-Madrid Champions League final.
