Chelsea can extend a 21-year streak when they play host to Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Given their turmoil off the pitch due to the financial sanctions imposed on Roman Abramovich, Chelsea's focus will be on trying to end a eventful week on a positive note.
The Blues are already on a four-match winning streak in the top flight, but the West Londoners can also extend a run in the league which has lasted since 2001.
Not since 2001 have Chelsea suffered a Premier League defeat at Stamford Bridge in March, that setback coming at the hands of Sunderland by a 4-2 scoreline.
As many as 34 matches have taken place since then, with Chelsea posting an impressive 29 wins and five defeats during that period.
However, they face opponents in Newcastle who are on a nine-match unbeaten streak of their own, the Magpies having moved clear of the Premier League relegation zone since the turn of the year.
