Head coach Antonio Conte has claimed that his Chelsea players "must be clever" when it comes to managing their fitness levels against Huddersfield Town.
On Wednesday night, Chelsea face a must-win game with the Terriers as they look to retain hope of qualifying for next season's Champions League, and the match comes just over 72 hours after the club's 1-0 victory over Liverpool.
Huddersfield head into the fixture looking to secure survival in the top flight, and Conte has said that he is expecting a difficult encounter with the Terriers.
At a press conference, the 48-year-old told reporters: "For sure our expectations are to have a tough game. Huddersfield are fighting to avoid relegation.
"We must pay great attention and we have to play with only two days' rest. We spent a lot of mental and physical effort. You have to win over 90 minutes, not the way you start and we must be clever."
Chelsea are the form team in the Premier League, having registered 13 points from their last six outings.
