Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has suggested that he is reluctant to throw Victor Moses straight back into action after a hamstring injury.
Moses had been sidelined for six weeks before being named as a substitute for Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Saturday evening, although the wing-back did not make it onto the pitch at Anfield.
The Nigerian international is likely to feature in the squad for Wednesday's Premier League meeting with Swansea City, but Conte has hinted that the player is not ready to play 90 minutes.
The 48-year-old told reporters: "He is in contention but at the same time I have to make the best decision for every player.
"For sure Victor is back from a bad injury and needs a bit of time to find the best physical condition. He is an important player for us."
Conte has revealed that he plans to rotate his squad, with Chelsea facing 10 matches in all competitions before the end of 2017.
