Antonio Conte has admitted that he is a big fan of Tammy Abraham and is confident that the youngster has a major part to play at Chelsea in the future.
The 19-year-old has impressed on loan in the Championship with Bristol City in the opening months of the season, scoring 11 goals in his first 16 appearances for the Robins.
Abraham made two Premier League appearances under Guus Hiddink at the tail end of last season, both from the bench, but Conte believes that the talented striker will become more of a regular for the Blues in the years to come.
"Abraham is another young player, he's the future for Chelsea, for sure," he told reporters. "He's very young. I saw him only one week during the pre-season in America, there we decided to send him to play every game, to get experience, and then come back with us.
"He has a great potential. I think the academy is working very well. Next season, I think now it's important to look to the present."
Abraham also impressed on his England Under-21s bow earlier this month, finding the net twice in a 5-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina Under-21s.
