Spain striker Diego Costa has acknowledged that he needs to improve at international level.
Despite netting four goals in his first three games for Chelsea, Costa went another game without a goal for Spain in their 1-0 defeat to France on Thursday night, and the former Atletico Madrid forward has admitted that he needs to adapt to his national team's style of play.
The 25-year-old is quoted by Marca as saying: "I really want to score with Spain.
"Our game is to have the ball a lot, have a lot of possession. I am aware that I have to adapt to them.
"Things are going very well for me at Chelsea and that encourages me to keep improving."
Costa switched allegiances from Brazil to Spain last year, with his debut for the former world champions taking place in March.
