Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has said that fans will need to patient with new signing Eden Hazard.
The Belgian youngster arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer with a huge reputation earned in Ligue 1 with Lille.
The Blues boss thinks that it will be important for Chelsea fans to give the 21-year-old time to settle at Stamford Bridge.
Di Matteo said: "Of course, we are looking for Eden to be incisive, but we have to be patient.
"He is a young man, he has come from a different league in France and we need to give him time to adapt."
Hazard could make his Chelsea debut against Premier League champions Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday, August 12.
