Didier Drogba has heaped praise on former boss Jose Mourinho by claiming that the Portuguese brings a "winning mentality" to every team he takes charge of.
The self-proclaimed 'special one' is in the midst of his toughest managerial campaign to date, having seen Chelsea head into the latest international break just two points above the drop zone.
Despite the Blues' poor start to the season under Mourinho, Drogba has backed the coach he spent more than three seasons working with at Stamford Bridge to come good once more.
"One of his many qualities is that he brings a winning mentality to all the teams he manages," the Montreal Impact ace wrote in his new autobiography.
"Once you know how to do it, you never forget, it stays with you for ever. And that is what he does with his players, at whichever club he is at.
"The majority of coaches when they arrive at a new club, they will say, "I'll try to win but it will be difficult.' Jose says, 'I'm here to win.' That rubs off on his players."
Chelsea are currently 16th in the Premier League, with seven of their 12 games this season ending in defeat.
