Didier Drogba has admitted that he prefers to play with a partner in attack.
The Ivorian has mainly been deployed as a lone striker this season, rarely given the chance of linking up with Fernando Torres.
However, Drogba has now revealed that he does not enjoy leading the line alone and would relish the opportunity to pair up with the Spaniard.
"It's not a role I really enjoy, because playing one against two defenders is very difficult," the Daily Star quotes Drogba as saying. "Some people don't understand that and sometimes I get criticism. That's football.
"I'd prefer to play with two strikers up there, so it's one on one with the defenders. That's a very different game for me."
Drogba has scored nine goals in 23 starts for the Blues this season.
