New Chelsea boss Graham Potter is reportedly expected to earn £60m in his time with the club.

The 47-year-old left Brighton & Hove Albion following a three-year spell to replace Thomas Tuchel as the Chelsea head coach.

The Blues were believed to have paid £15m to Brighton to secure the services of Potter, who has signed a five-year deal with the club.

According to the Daily Mail, Potter will receive £12m a year which would result in the Englishman earning £60m if he stays the full term of his contract.

As well as taking on the role as Chelsea boss, Potter is also expected to assist the club in choosing a new sporting director.

Potter will take charge of his first game in charge of the Blues on Wednesday, with his side set to welcome Red Bull Salzburg to Stamford Bridge. body check tags ::
