Pep Guardiola will reportedly hold face-to-face talks with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich before deciding his future.
The Blues have identified the former Barcelona boss as their main managerial target, according to The Sun, as they prepare for next season.
Guardiola confirmed upon leaving Spain that he would spend a year out of the game, but Chelsea have reportedly turned his head with an £11m-a-year offer.
A Chelsea source said: "If it takes a big meeting with Abramovich to get the deal done, that's what must happen."
Chelsea finished last season in sixth spot in the Premier League.
