Owen Hargreaves has claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will hope his team can capitalise on Chelsea's poor form.
The Reds travel to Stamford Bridge this afternoon having failed to win their two Premier League games under Klopp.
Chelsea have had a torrid start to the campaign having won just three, drawn two and lose five in England's top flight.
Hargreaves believes that Klopp will understand the troubles of his counterpart Jose Mourinho as his Borussia Dortmund team struggled at the bottom of the table in the early stages of his final season in charge of the Bundesliga outfit.
"As Liverpool manager [Klopp] will want to capitalise on a Chelsea team struggling for confidence because his Dortmund team last season, as good as they were, struggled with confidence and never figured it out," Hargreaves said on BT Sport's Matchday Live.
Chelsea are currently 15th in the table, while Liverpool are three points ahead in ninth.
