Chelsea star Eden Hazard has claimed that he would happily play as a left-back if asked by manager Antonio Conte.
The 27-year-old has at times been positioned as a false nine rather than in his usual playmaker role.
Prior to the international break, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez insisted that Hazard would not play in a forward position while representing his country.
The player, though, does not seem to mind were he is positioned on the pitch by Conte.
"I just want to be on the pitch. Number nine, number 10 – I can play left-back if the manager wants, no problem," Goal.com quotes Hazard as saying. "I'll give everything, like I do every time."
When asked about his future at Stamford Bridge, the midfielder said: "I'm happy with Chelsea. I'm just thinking about the end of the season and the World Cup. I've got two years left in my contract."
Hazard has scored 15 goals and created 11 assists in 41 appearances for the Blues this season.
