John Terry in the running to be Newcastle United manager?

John Terry is reportedly now on the shortlist to become the next Newcastle United manager.

John Terry has become the latest name to reportedly be linked with the Newcastle United job, with the odds for the former Chelsea captain being dropped dramatically.

The former England international went into coaching after he retired from the game in 2018, staying with Aston Villa to become the assistant manager of the club.

Terry stayed in that role until he left in July of this year, and since that point, he has been linked with several management positions, including roles at Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

However, the 40-year-old is now being linked with the job at Newcastle United, as he is reportedly on the shortlist alongside several other names.

Graeme Jones is in temporary charge of the club since Steve Bruce's dismissal, with Newcastle currently sitting 19th in the Premier League without a single victory so far this season.
