Frank Lampard has admitted that he would like to see Didier Drogba return to Chelsea in the future.
The striker left Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2011-12 season to move to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, before joining Galatasaray, who were knocked out of the Champions League by the London club last night.
The club's record goalscorer told the Evening Standard: "Of course I'd like to see Didier back as a coach or as a player.
"The manager said before the game that you can't see him not being part of the club in some shape or form.
"It's up to him and the club, but he's always going to be regarded as a legend and held in the top bracket in this club. I'm sure if he can give something back, I'm sure Didier would love to."
Drogba is out of contract with the Turkish side at the end of the season.
